Incredible Insect Photographs

Igor Siwanowicz is the photographer who captured all these incredible photos. Igor used macro photography techniques while taking shots. Macro photography is a technique, which allows photographers to take close-up shots of subjects. Though it once referred exclusively to photography, which rendered the subject in life-size on the negative, it has come to encompass almost all magnified photographic techniques. Macro photography differs in many ways from other types of photography: it often requires specialized equipment and it requires that the photographer make a number of special considerations when planning their shots. Just take a look and imagine that how beautiful looking they are.

The 15 Most Beautiful Flowers In The World

Mussaenda erythrophylla (Ashanti Blood, Red Flag Bush, Tropical Dogwood)

Flowers With Soul – Colorful Nature

“Birds and bees have color vision, enabling them to seek out “colorful” flowers. Some flowers have patterns, called nectar guides, that show pollinators where to look for nectar; they may be visible only under ultraviolet light, which is visible to bees and some other insects.” There are a lot of colorful and interesting flowers around the world. Lots of people enjoy watching some crazy colored flowers. All those colors and shapes make them look like they have soul. Enjoy in this gallery called “Little Green Chicken”:

12 Great Sakura Videos

Originally, this custom was a tradition of the elite from the Imperial Court, and after a while it was also adopted by the Samurai class.

5 Weird Birds

With a world full of flight taking creatures there are bound to be some that are out of the ordinary. There are birds that are deemed beautiful by avid bird watchers, because of the way they take flight or their plumage and then there are birds we catch and raise in captivity that can be deemed just as beautiful. From parakeets to cockatoos and even macaws these birds are all raised in captivity and beautiful. There are also birds that can be deemed as the weirder bunch of birds.

Helmeted Hornbill

This particular bird is found in the Malay Peninsula, Borneo, and Sumatra region. The feathers of this bird are mainly black. The only other color feathers are white and they are located on the belly and tail of the bird. They generally have a bare and wrinkled throat patch that is red in the males and blue in the females. The head of this bird makes up for ten percent of the 5.9 to 6.8 pounds of the weight.

5 Of The Weirdest Flowers

When you think of flowers you probably think of gardens full of roses or a rolling green field dotted with crisp looking daisies. These flowers will have you on the lookout for Harry Potter’s Herbology teacher. There seems to be times when nature wants us to be in awe of its weirdness rather than beauty.

Rafflesia

These planets look, they were designed in the 1960’s by someone taking a psychedelic drug. Rafflesia is a parasitic flowering planet discovered by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles guide in 1818 during an expedition through the Indonesia rain forest. The only part of the plant visible other than the vine is the flower. The flower has five large rounded petals and can grow up to over 100 centimeters. Rafflesias smell like rotten flesh a tactic intended to attract insects such as flies or carrion beetles for the purpose of pollination.

trees in the island of happiness

Socotra (Arabic سقطرة Suqutrah) is the biggest and the main island in an archipelago that also includes the 'Three Brothers', smaller islands called Abd Al Kuri, Samha and Darsa. A part of Yemen, the place has a population of a few hundreds of people and, until about ten years ago, access to it was only possible between October and May, due to strong winds in the region. However, what makes this small group of lost, little islands in the Indic ocean so attractive is its fascinating flora.
In its 3.625 km², flower about 800 kinds of plants, about a third of which are endemic, that is, in no other place on Earth can you find them. Trees like the cracena cinnibaris, the adenium obesum and thedendrosicyos socotranum have an appearance as peculiar as their scientific names. Photos of these incredible species speak for themselves. Unfortunately, Socotra's flora is among the ten most endangered in the world, because of its unique features. The climate in the region, as well as other factors, have created beings that are the envy of even the most inventive science fiction. It's a shame our planet is so mistreated by its human inhabitants.
